BAHIA

Symmetrical asymmetry for an exciting fan effect.
  • The new veneer front BAHIA from LEICHT accomplishes a demanding balancing act: on the one hand, it creates an exciting look with its distinctive grooved structure and, on the other, ensures a harmonious overall appearance with the visual merging of several furniture fronts. In addition to the contrast between the raised surface and the grooves themselves, the special feature of BAHIA is the combination of two apparent opposites. Within any one front, the individual grooves are set asymmetrically to each other, but in the sequence of several fronts, an identical fanning structure emerges.

The veneer finishes in dark and striking surfaces were chosen to match, with a choice between elm, ash and walnut. The individual cabinets visually merge into one piece of furniture. This special feature is created by keeping the visible vertical cut-outs dark and in the width of the classic vertical joint. This makes the milled out sections look like a joint or the joint looks like a milled out section - a perfect camouflage.
